Wedding photographers in Orange County love going to the beach, but I also love going to the hills! Yes, the hills! In this Coup De Foudre (love at first sight) shoot that we did with Jasmine and Anthony we had such a beautiful time walking around barefoot in the grass. The date we shot this coincided with their first year anniversary. It was such a beautiful time. Please check out all the lovely details on the Ruffledblog.

Happy Wednesday! I'm in the middle of editing a family session. But I wanted to give you a little teaser glimpse of the shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. I recently collaborated with Vivian Tran of Vivian Tran Makeup and Indigo and Plum. Oh how I love creating wedding styled shoots! It makes me feel like I'm putting a puzzle together and I do love a good puzzle (15 piece puzzle or less--Just kidding). I can't wait to show you the finished product. But for now here's Kori Agee in a Claire pettibone wedding gown--hello, swoon fest!
**This session was shot on film.
This wedding-Gah! Where do I even begin? Let's start off by saying that there was so much love all around, it made me feel like a marshmallow dipped in chocolate.
I mean, seriously.
I can't even handle how amazing it was.
If you look at the pictures you can see some serious heart palpitating moments--like the one where Frank and Stephanie are kissing and then he decides to dip her--like, hello, they had a "Notebook" moment. For real. (ain't nobody told them to do that. It just happend--organically. Yes, people this was a perfect gluten free moment).
And then during the ceremony where Frank reaches over and tenderly takes Stephanie's hand. My God Stephanie! This man is a keeper!! But I assume you already know that given the fact that you married him.
Or when Frank and Stephanie are standing on the wishing well, and time just sort of, well, stops. I can't imagine a more perfect scenario as the sun is setting. Except for me being there. I should be there. Actually, I really need to be there because afterall, then I would just be telling you and not showing you any pictures.
And then there's the dancing. I mean Stephanie can outdance my whole Latin family. She actually puts them to shame. It's like there was a disease that wiped out a small village, but somehow somewhere there was a girl who survived it. She somehow (don't ask for specifics-we don't know how) genetically mutated and celebrates by dancing. And that would be Stephanie. Go on, Steph, you need to
a. Continue dancing (like everywhere--while you turn on the AC, during a mud run, inbetween yoga stretches)
b. Lineup outside the Orpheum Theater for "So You Think You Can Dance" auditions
Because people--She. did. not. sit. down. ever.
At the end of the night, as I was getting ready to leave, I remember thinking that I couldn't wait to see the pictures because I wanted to relive it all over again.
Frank and Stephanie I feel so honored to have captured your wedding!

A special thanks to my second shooter Jon Cu for all his help =)

I've been jumping at the bit in order to show you this shoot. I had an amazing time collaborting with these wonderful vendors allowing our creative juices to flow. It all starts with a vision board and then somehow, it comes together. Kind of like an omlette, but not as messy. This is the gah-gorgeous Ashley Forte and the very handsome Jonathan Oro. You guys made my job so easy! Ashley is wearing a Dar Sara flowered top paired with a Sarah Janks tulle skirt. We also paired the tulle skirt with a criss cross beaded Sarah Janks bow tie top. Ashley looked ethreal in it! I had such a fun time and always look forward to the next time I can put something together ;)
